Readings from an Irish literary magazine.
“An Irish literary journal actively trying to punch you in the face. Stories, poems, reviews—that sort of malarky.” Featured authors have included Paul Muldoon, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, Matthew Sweeney, Wiiliam Wall, Nuala Ní Chonchúir, Kevin Barry and many more.
The Penny Dreadful magazine was founded by two Cork writers, John Keating and Marc O'Connell. Its readership has grown quickly, and recent projects also include a Halloween-themed writing competition, and publication of Blood Oranges, a debut collection by Dylan Brennan. This event will include readings by recent contributors and a discussion with the magazine's founders. http://thepennydreadful.org/
